Stephanie is a speech language pathologist who was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She received her bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University and received her master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Fullerton. 

Throughout her time in college, Stephanie worked as a piano teacher and a behavioral therapist. It was these jobs that made her realize her love for working with children and helping children find their confidence. Upon hearing the news of her grandmother’s diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and seeing her struggle daily with her communication, Stephanie realized how important communication is to one’s quality of life. This is what ultimately motivated Stephanie to pursue a career as a speech language pathologist. Stephanie is passionate about helping others find their voice and believes communication is a fundamental right. 

When Stephanie isn’t working, she is engaging in one of her many hobbies. Stephanie has many interests, which include cooking, searching for new coffee shops or good places to eat, hiking, reading, or drawing. She loves to travel more than anything and loves learning about different cultures and languages.
