Maddie was born in Arizona, raised in California, got her undergraduate degree from Utah State University while living in Washington, and is now living in Riverside, CA with her husband. She graduated from California Baptist University in 2023 with her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, and now she enjoys working at First Expressions as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow.
Maddie has clinical experience in schools, private clinics, and a children’s hospital, and she has special interest in early intervention and pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders. Her passion for speech-language pathology came from a fascination with language and languages, and it has developed into a passion for supporting others in their ability to communicate and meet their own needs effectively. One of her favorite feelings is helping young children figure out their first words.
When she is not working, Maddie enjoys reading, hiking, and rock climbing. She has climbed outdoors in Yosemite and Joshua Tree National Parks, as well as Leavenworth in Washington and Box Springs Mountain Reserve in Riverside.
