Lauren is originally from La Habra, California, and attended California Baptist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. Her passion for helping others through speech therapy was inspired by personal family experiences growing up with one cousin who has Down syndrome and another who stutters.
After graduating, Lauren began working as an SLP-A in a clinic setting before transitioning into the school setting. Over time, she realized she missed the opportunity to provide more individualized, one-on-one treatment, which ultimately led her back to the clinic environment. She enjoys helping children develop communication skills and supporting them as they learn to express themselves and connect with others.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys thrifting with her husband, visiting coffee shops, reading, and going to the gym.
