Juliette is a speech language pathologist who was born and raised in San Diego, CA and speaks English and Spanish.  She attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where she received her B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Anthropology. While at Westmont, she had to opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Queretaro, Mexico. From there, she attended graduate school at New York University and graduated with a M.S. in Communication Studies and Disorders.

Juliette used to want to be a Spanish teacher when she started undergrad where she had first heard the term “speech language pathologist” and her teacher said that she had multiple Spanish students return and tell her they decided to go into speech pathology. When it was time to graduate and she no longer wanted to be a teacher, she remembered that conversation and looked into the field and fell in love with the idea of being able to help others but every day and session is different.

Juliette briefly attended speech therapy when she was a child so she has first hand experience knowing how beneficial it is. She also loves getting to know the kids and families and getting to watch their confidence and speech and language abilities grow.

When Juliette is not working, you can find her at a cafe, reading, crocheting, going to a concert, binging a show on Hulu, or cuddling with her cats, S’mores and Styles
