Desiree is currently based in Corona and has also lived in Riverside, making the area feel like home to her. She values the opportunity to work within a community she is personally connected to and deeply familiar with. Desiree earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Arizona State University, where her interest in the field grew as she developed a deeper understanding of how profoundly communication impacts everyday life.
She chose to become a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant because of her strong desire to help others and her commitment to meaningful, hands-on work. Desiree recognizes that while communication is often taken for granted, challenges in this area can significantly affect confidence, relationships, and daily interactions. She is passionate about supporting individuals as they build their communication skills and gain confidence, and she feels honored to be part of her clients’ journeys while celebrating their progress alongside their families.
Outside of work, Desiree is very family-oriented and enjoys spending quality time with friends and loved ones. She also enjoys crocheting and engaging in art activities, which help her relax and recharge.
