Areana is a speech language pathologist assistant who was born and raised in the Inland Empire. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Biola University.

Throughout her time in college, Areana played for the softball team at Biola. A teammate on the Biola Softball team introduced her to the field of speech pathology, so she took an Introduction to Human Disabilities course and fell in love with the idea of being an advocate for people with disabilities. Areana also has a family member who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder which motivates her to support other children just as those therapists supported her own family. Areana is passionate about being a therapist because of the amount of happiness it brings her when she is able to connect with her clients and support the families to achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Areana enjoys spending time with her family, photography, music, anything outdoors, making crafty things from pinterest, going to Target and discovering new foods to make.
