Amber C. White is a Speech-Language Pathologist, with roots in Riverside County, CA. After earning her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at California Baptist University (CBU) in Riverside in 2016, Amber graduated with her M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in 2020.

Amber considers her personal experience with childhood-onset stuttering as her first direct exposure to speech-language pathology. A sense of curiosity and drive to strengthen her own communicative abilities gradually pulled her to pursue SLP as a vocation. Thus far, she has had the privilege of partnering with an extensive and beautiful variety of pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients in both Northern and Southern California, founding her practice upon the following principles:

Amber cherishes the invaluable mentorship she has had in her education and career. It was with gratitude and excitement that she joined the First Expressions team in the summer of 2021.

Some of Amber’s interests include admiring the hidden street art and exploring natural wonders. She considers running and reading literature as some of the most enriching forms of self-help, with writers Elena Ferrante, Octavio Paz, and John Steinbeck as her current favorites. One of her ongoing life philosophies: regardless of where you are and whom you are with, you can always learn something.
